Kristin Carden
Bio - Kristin Carden
In the fall of 2016, Kristin was appointed Technical Director of Chesapeake United. In previous seasons, Kristin has maintained several instrumental roles in the development of youth players across many of the club’s programs and has acquired extensive experience as a Director of Coaching for Chesapeake United as well as FC United. Prior to joining Chesapeake United years ago, Kristin was a youth team coach as well as goalkeeping coach at Virginia Rush Soccer Club where she also served as a staff member in the School of Excellence. Kristin currently holds a USSF “D” License and Goalkeeping Level 1 & 2 Licenses and will continue to pursue the highest levels of coaching education. Kristin’s soccer career includes playing Division 1 College Soccer at Virginia Commonwealth and Virginia Tech, where she was a two-time NCAA Tournament participant, ACC Tournament finalist, and recipient of numerous accolades for individual performance. Some of her career accolades and awards include Atlantic Coast Conference First Team (2008, 2009), NCAA Sweet 16 (2009), Colonial Athletic Association First Team (2011), and Atlantic 10 First Team (2012) as well as Soccer America Team, Virginia Tech Athlete of the Week, Top Drawer Soccer Player, and National Soccer Coaches Association of America Player of the Week. Prior to her collegiate career, Kristin was a three-time first team all-state selection at Frank W. Cox High School where she was recognized as an NSCAA All-American in 2008.

Nan Beck

Bio - Nan Beck
Over the past 16 years, Nan has acquired a wealth of experience with managerial and administrative positions in youth soccer throughout Hampton Roads. She began in 2000 as a Team Manager, which was followed just two years later by Hampton Roads Girls Soccer Association (HRGSA) Representative and Club Representative to Eurotech Team Soccer Camps. Not long after this, Nan became the Assistant Club Administrator for the former Chesapeake Select Soccer Club, now known as Chesapeake United Soccer Club. In 2004, she accepted her most recent position as Chesapeake United Soccer Club’s Administrator where she has served for over 10 years providing extensive information and support to club staff and members alike. During her time at Chesapeake United, she has also served as a VSLI Registrar (2005 to present), Founding Member of Tidewater Advanced Soccer Club in 2005 (TASL), and TASL secretary from 2007 to present. These many positions and years of experience make Nan Beck a well-qualified Administrator that Chesapeake United is proud to have.
